Sewing workshops

Sewing is an activity that fits perfectly into our socio-professional program for women and poor families.

In fact, once a sewing workshop is funded, its creation is almost immediate because of its limited financial investment and the logistics are easily set up. This system allows a rapid application of the newly acquired skills by those who participate in the workshops.

Creating the sewing workshops has proven that this professional training helps its beneficiaries in many ways, whether on a personal, social, or economic level.

The participants (mainly single mothers) acquire a professional skill that will help them find a job and/or earn a regular income on their own by selling their products in local markets.

From our sustainable development perspective, these sewing workshops will quickly provide long term financial independence.
